About the Band

RADiXTAR

Nagoya city punks making Cali-style street music with all the skate, ska & oi trimmings that come with the territory. They've solidified a place in the Japanese punk scene playing alongside outfits like SHOCK TROOPS and J.U.U.M. in their home turf as well as Tokyo street punk notables ROUGH STUFF and THE ERECTiONS. RADiXTAR have recorded a self-titled debut mini-album and have more raucous material on the way!

PACIFICTION REVIEW:

RADiXTAR churns out a variety of California punk sounds on their debut mini-album showing they can provide a much needed service for fans of RANCID and the like in their own hometown of Nagoya City. Not to say the buck stops there; listen for ska on "Pirates" and some more anthem-style oi on "Street Punx." The last couple of tracks are acoustic renditions with enough gusto to make MIKE NESS proud!
