About the Band

ATOMIC SUPLEX

ATOMIC SUPLEX are a high-power rock 'n' roll fury from the streets of London. Their feedback laced and loud, distorted songs have drawn them comparisons to Japan's GUITAR WOLF while they somehow manage to keep rooted in American garage and real RnR. They have cut several singles at 45rpm, been praised in press like Art Rocker and MRR and toured Japan several times alongside the stylish VIVIAN BOYS and Batman-themed freakout THEEE BAT.

THEEE BAT

Accelerating at speeds only the Batmobile could achieve, Mika Bat & Kub Sharp arrived on Tokyo's Back from the Grave garage punk scene like the real dynamic duo crashing through the rooftop of a secret hideout with fists flaring "BAM" and "POW!" Suited up in capes, black leather and London constable helmets and wielding their Bat-gear of choice, vintage Firstman guitars in the shape of violins, THEEE BAT assault the audience with a repertoire of brash originals and electrified garage classics. In 2008, they gigged around London before appearing at the Funtasic Dracula Carnival in Spain. In Japan, they supported THE MUMMIES at the annual Halloween Ball... and their mission is far from over!

PACIFICTION REVIEW:

For the first time ever, Swamp Fiction presents four garage punk, trash rock ā€˜nā€™ roll doozers on full moon yellow vinyl! In one corner we have ATOMIC SUPLEX, cue their theme song and hear the blaring saxophone that warns of the loosing of the bulls! The follow up track "Diamond Skull" is an obvious tip of the stetson to Bo Diddley but with raw lyrics and drilling feedback that up the ante on a timeless thumping signature beat. On the flip side, THEEE BAT make their debut with two freakout tracks, "Bats L.U.V" being a perfect introduction to Mika Bat's screeching vox and Kub Sharp's wild bass attack. Next they join "Willie The Wild One," best know from Cyrpt's Back from the Grave collection, in his frantic teenage rebel anthem. Mexican wrestlers, comic book heroes, leather bikers and voodoo rock 'n' rollers, this tiny 45rpm disc is packed with trashy vintage imagery!
