LIBERATION: Songs To Benefit PeTA

Fat Mike of seminal California punk band NOFX and indie label Fat Wreck Chords approached the grassroots animal rights organization PeTA about putting out a benefit comp. A diverse number of punk, indie and popular bands turned out to support the cause. Activist label Leek Records released the comp in Taiwan spreading awareness of animal suffering further.

PACIFICTION REVIEW:

Originally released in 2003 from Fat Wreck Chords, this CD listed here is the Leek Records Taiwan release which includes a couple extra tracks by CONSIDER THE MEEK and THE QUEERS. The compilation consists of a diverse roster including rare tracks by GOOD CHARLOTTE and THE USED. And not only do some of the greatest punk and indie rock bands of the new millennium make appearances, but proceeds go to support People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PeTA).
